The ‘Hairless’ Craze – Grooming and Aesthetics For Men and Women

Wherever one goes, they are there. They are simply everywhere.

I am referring to hair removal products of all kinds. What is it with the hairless anyway? you ask. There is a long discussion about that friend, but if you really want to know. I’ll tell you what I know, based from friends who actually go hairless all the way.

If I am first gonna be radical about this, I’ll tell you that maybe, the reason why people need (that is synonymous with WANT nowadays), to be hairless is because that is what practically everyone considers beautiful. And who doesn’t want to be beautiful right? I know. Beauty is supposed to be relative but the society you are in is way too powerful than relativity, so there. Going back to the present…

Most often than not, people shave, wax, undergo various methods of hair removal, to get rid of all those hairs, and please other people’s eyes. Of course there are other reasons as well, like that of grooming wherein both women and men get to undergo procedures to remove the hairs of their chosen body part, to be ‘clean’. There are people who go hairless for aesthetic purposes but others do this for grooming as well. When we talk about grooming involving hair removal, body parts implicated are underarms/armpits (generally on women), facial hair (mostly for men), and for some, the pubic area. Underarm hairs could be shaved or waxed, or for long-lasting effects, could be removed with electrolysis hair removal. [For those who read the word electrolysis for the first time: Electrolysis is a method of hair removal wherein a very, very thin needle is inserted in a hair follicle to destroy the are responsible for hair regrowth]

The said techniques could also be utilized for facial hair removal but grooming on the pubic area has been rarely advised with hair electrolysis method for obviously, the area is a critical part to administer complicated procedures on.

One has a variety of choices to choose from when it comes to hair removal methods. You could shave it, wax it or whatever. There are countless ways but the closest to long-lasting hair removal solution is electrolysis. One could purchase home electrolysis kits, but I strongly advise against it. You see, despite the cheaper costs of doing it yourself, having to pay a relatively expensive fee to a professional electrologist, is by far, much more worth it than doing the procedure wrong, causing possible long-term damage to your skin. I don’t know, it’s your call but based from several articles I’ve read on do-it-yourself electrolysis (see, it even sound downright weird…), it is just not right to do that by yourself. Some people don’t even know what a hair follicle means! How else would they carry out something as highly crucial technique as electrolysis, right?

So whether you are up for a hairless self whether it’s for grooming or for aesthetic purposes, I really don’t care. Just make sure that you do thing properly and you don’t hurt yourself! Good luck on your pursuit for a hairless smooth skin friend.
